Truck Dealers are facilities in American Truck Simulator where the player can purchase new trucks. They don't show on the game map until the player discovers them by driving past them, after which they will appear with this icon:. Afterwards, the manufacturer the dealership belongs to will be visible in the 'Truck Dealer' menu. All dealerships also feature rest stops and service shops.

In our next update for American Truck Simulator, we are happy to announce the arrival of a new lowboy trailer that comes in an array of different configurations, as well as a few other features which we know many drivers will enjoy.
Drivers will now be able to purchase their own lowboy trailer and use them in the cargo market. Owners of these trailers will benefit from a wide array of options to customize them in the upgrade shop, such as color, trailer accessories, beacons, chassis options, lengths, articulated axles, and more!
Lowboy Trailers have now also been updated to be included in various add-on packages including Special Transport and Heavy Cargo DLC's. We hope you enjoy using these trailers across a variety of different job contracts.
Not only will you be able to take advantage of the new lowboy trailer, but so will other drivers on the road. lowboys will also be now hauled around in traffic as you travel through America, so make sure to give them plenty of space if you pass by them.
